About Driverz

Fast UK driving tools, built around real daily decisions.

Driverz is a simple UK driving utility site built around quick answers: nearby fuel prices, station search, favourite stations, clickable station comparisons, EV charging information, opening times, driving cost calculators, clean air zone guidance, key driving rules and emergency information.

Driverz is designed to feel more like a useful dashboard than a blog: search a station, compare it with the cheapest nearby option, save favourites, estimate real costs, then move on.

What Driverz helps with

Most drivers do not need a long article when they are checking fuel, planning a trip or trying to understand a charge. Driverz keeps the useful part first.

FuelFind nearby petrol, diesel and EV options, then compare nearby stations or chargers.
SearchSearch a forecourt by name, open it as the main card and compare it with cheaper nearby options.
FavouritesSave useful fuel stations or EV chargers in your browser for quick repeat checks.
CostsEstimate fill-up cost, trip cost, pence per mile, EV charging time and EV savings.

How to use the site

1
Search your locationUse the header search, choose a popular location, or allow location access to find nearby fuel and charging information.
2
Choose what you needSwitch between petrol, diesel and EV. Adjust the 0.5–10 mile radius, exclude membership-only stations, compare nearby stations and open a selected station as the main card.
3
Save and compareSave favourite stations or chargers, compare a searched station with the cheapest nearby option and estimate the saving on a typical 40L fill-up.
4
Use the calculator tools and guidesEstimate trip costs, cost per mile, EV charging time, home charging savings and read short UK-focused guide pages only when needed.

Newer Driverz features

Driverz is being shaped around practical actions drivers actually use on mobile: check the best option first, compare nearby alternatives, and open directions when ready.

Station searchSearch a named station, then see “You searched for”, “Cheapest nearby” and “Save today”.
Clickable listTap a compare-row station to open it as the main card, while directions and favourite buttons stay separate.
FavouritesSave petrol, diesel or EV favourites with clear labels, saved price and quick open/remove actions.
Opening timesShow station opening times where the data source provides them, with a clear fallback when unavailable.

Data and accuracy

Fuel, EV and driving information can change quickly. Driverz is designed to make available data easier to understand, with practical checks for stale or extreme fuel prices. Normal prices are kept clean; warnings are shown only when a price looks unusually old or unusual enough to check before travelling.

EV charging data can be incomplete because connector details, live pricing and availability depend on what each charging data source provides. Free EV charging is labelled clearly, unavailable price details are shown as such, and technical gaps are kept readable rather than shown as raw errors.

Driverz is an independent utility site. It is not an official government service, fuel retailer, charging network or emergency service provider.

Privacy approach

Location is used to show nearby driving information. Where possible, preferences such as selected location, radius, fuel type and EV settings are stored in your browser so the site feels faster next time.

Future analytics and cookie settings should be handled with a small, clear consent choice, not a disruptive full-screen popup.
